1. Terms of Use
Welcome to KingsFish (kingsfish.co.za). By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1.1 General
- KingsFish operates as an online retail store selling freshwater aquarium products including food, lighting, water treatment, filtration, pumps, heaters, and related accessories.
- We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes.
- All content on this website, including product descriptions, images, and pricing, is the property of KingsFish and may not be reproduced without written permission.
1.2 Product Information
- We make every effort to ensure product descriptions and images are accurate. However, slight variations in colour or packaging may occur.
- KingsFish does not sell live fish or live animals of any kind. All products are non-living aquarium supplies.
- Product availability is subject to change without notice. If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you promptly.
1.3 Pricing
- All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
- KingsFish reserves the right to correct any pricing errors. If a pricing error affects your order, we will contact you before processing payment.
- Promotional prices are valid for the specified period only and cannot be applied retrospectively.
1.4 Orders & Payment
- Orders are confirmed only upon successful payment. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been placed.
- KingsFish accepts payment via PayFast (credit/debit card, EFT, SnapScan) and Yoco.
- KingsFish reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.
2. Shipping Policy
KingsFish delivers nationwide across South Africa. We aim to get your aquarium products to you as quickly and safely as possible.
2.1 Delivery Times
- Standard delivery: 3 to 5 working days after payment confirmation.
- Remote areas may take 5 to 7 working days.
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next working day.
- KingsFish is not responsible for delays caused by courier services, adverse weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.
2.2 Shipping Costs
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order weight.
- Free shipping may be offered on qualifying orders as part of promotional campaigns.
- All shipping costs are displayed clearly before payment is finalised.
2.3 Packaging
- All products are carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit.
- Fragile items such as glass equipment and lighting are packed with additional protective materials.
2.4 Delivery Address
- Please ensure your delivery address is correct at checkout. KingsFish cannot be held responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
- We deliver to physical addresses only. PO Box deliveries are not available.
2.5 Tracking
- Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email.
- You can use this tracking number to monitor your delivery through the courier’s website.
3. Returns & Refunds
KingsFish wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, please contact us within the timeframes outlined below.
3.1 Return Eligibility
- Items may be returned within 7 days of delivery, provided they are unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition.
- Consumable products such as fish food, water treatment chemicals, and medications cannot be returned once opened.
- Electrical items (heaters, pumps, lighting) must be returned in their original sealed packaging and must not have been used or installed.
- Proof of purchase is required for all returns.
3.2 Damaged or Incorrect Items
- If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging.
- KingsFish will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
- Do not dispose of damaged items or packaging until the matter has been resolved.
3.3 Return Process
- To initiate a return, email us at support@kingsfish.co.za with your order number and reason for return.
- We will provide return shipping instructions. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is damaged or incorrect.
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund or replacement within 5 working days.
3.4 Refunds
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5 to 10 working days.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
- KingsFish reserves the right to refuse a return if the item does not meet the return eligibility criteria.
